UGANDA WASHED ARABICA
ORIGIN
We obtain our "washed Arabica" from a women's organization called CWCDA (Chebonet Women Coffee Development Association) from Eastern Uganda the Kapchorwa area on Mount Elgon. It is an amalgamation of 50 women farmers who handcraft their coffee organically and sustainably plant.

The Arabica variety SL 14 grows at altitudes between 1,800 – 2,000 masl on Mount Elgon and finds ideal conditions there: regular rainfall due to its proximity to the equator and fertile, volcanic soils.
The organically grown coffee is harvested and washed exclusively by hand.
